Scriptural prayers often included, praises of glory and the greatness of God. Jesus began by praising God’s name “let your name be kept holy” Luke 11:2 GW. Many of the Psalms start with praise. Psalm 86:5-12 NKJV

You will find many other verses throughout His word, that show God’s great qualities and works for which God deserves our praise, surely we ought to be praising God in prayer for all that He has done.
